This place is a gem, I know there aren’t many Airbnb options in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area so if you’re looking around, save yourself a click or two and just book it. The house itself is huge, the property is even larger, and it has a hot tub. A quick drive to GV and easy access to all that the NC/GV area has to offer.

We loved our stay at Melissa's place. Our toddler had ample room to explore-- he loved feeding the chickens and ducks every morning. We also appreciated the large number of games and toys that we could play with. It was just the coziest trip ever! Melissa was very responsive and friendly-- great job!

Melissa was very sweet and understanding when we needed to make adjustments. The home reminded me of my childhood, visiting my grandmother's Nevada City home. We loved all the family friendly touches.

We felt delightfully at home here. The house was big enough to accommodate our family needs and Melissa was a very thoughtful and responsive host, very easy to communicate with.

We were fortunate that Melissa’s place was available when our travel plans changed at the last minute. The house is spacious and charming and the grounds lovely. We had lots to do inside and out, with the hot tub being the clear favorite, followed by the chickens and ducks and the swings. We appreciated the extra privacy that comes with a large property. Definitely the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at yet!

This place is the best! I stayed for a week, part of the time with a group of friends and their 3 year old kids. The kids were so entertained by all the fun toys and games and outdoor places to play. We had plenty of room to make and share meals, and the chickens took care of our scraps. Private but so close to town, and all the great swimming spots. And the hosts are so communicative and thoughtful. ❤️❤️❤️
